A Grand Monday: Saab 900 Turbo
Tempting us in the classified adverts this week, is this Saab 900 Turbo for £1295.
According to the advert, this two-door in good condition mechanically – although it’s not standard.
The seller says, ‘I believe it has the 16-valve turbo engine, but with an 8v turbo, T16s injectors fitted as well as the waste gate upgraded.’
Reportedly in good condition for its age, it does have some surface rust on the bonnet. It’s also worth checking the door bottoms and the wheelarches for sign of rot.

If you’re serious about buying this car, then make sure there are no signs of head gasket failure (leaks of oil and water around the cylinder head) or a failing gearbox (popping out of first or second).
The car has 10 months Mot, so is ready to go - if you’re happy the price is right.
