Top 10: Classic car barn finds on display at the restoration show
A large collection of barn finds will be on display at the Restoration and Classic Car Show this weekend, 28-29 March.
Expect an eclectic mix of motors on show at the Birmingham NEC - all revived from long-term slumbers in fields, garages and sheds.

John Ducker’s 1952 MG TD
This car is chassis No. TD/19735 and engine No. XPAG/TD2/20035. Originally dark green, John is not sure which of two shades it was - Almond Green GN37 or Woodland Green GN29. The green leather is original. Originally registered in Massachusetts, little is known of the first owner. Later it was the property of an engineer for four decades; stored for the first three and given a mechanical rebuild in the fourth. ‘I bought this car as I think the MG T-types are the ‘classic’ classic car shape with universal appeal, also Meccano-like engineering and great parts availability,’ says John. ‘The plan is to repaint it original dark green, but the new trim parts that came with it are tan coloured so will need recolouring.’
