My wife describes travelling in our Midget as rather like sitting in a roller skate ! This is a bit unfair, however the car's diminutive size does make 30mph feel like 40 and 50mph like 70 ! The fact that your backside is only eight or nine inches from the road enhances the effect somewhat.
This is a fun car to drive (remember no synchromesh on first gear though), with extraordinary availability of support parts and accessories.
On the downside it's not very secure (can be unlocked by putting a hand through an unclipped hood, so a 'KrookLock' type of anti-theft device is at least a deterrent !
