In what promises to be the biggest collectors car auction of all time with scores of million dollar motors, Dana Mecum is offering four Bugatti Veyrons and three Duesenberg Model Js in his 23rd - 25th August Auction at Monterey, California.

Before anyone starts hopping up and down about the customised 1938 Alfa 2900 8C saloon, I'd better point out that it was built from a scrapped body only. All the other 8C bits such as chassis, engine and drivetrain probably went into a recreated 2900 8C roadster.
