BMW M635 CSI set for Berlin auction

More than 55 classic and sports cars are going under the hammer in Berlin, including a 1989 BMW M635 CSI. The car, which is estimated to fetch €40,000-€50,000, is part of Coys inaugural auction at Motorworld Classics in Berlin on 7 October.

The annually held exhibition attracts a mix of classic cars, ‘young-timers’, connoisseur-cars, and curiosities to the Berlin ExpoCenter. The event has been growing year on year with more than 26,000 trade and public visitors in 2016.

The auction offers plenty of interesting metal, including a matching numbers 1967 Ferrari 330 GTC (estimated at €420,000-€480,000), a 1953 Mercedes-Benz 220B Cabriolet (€110,000-€125,000), and a 1964 ISO Rivolta IR300 (€60,000-€70,000).

German marques feature heavily and include a recently restored 1964 Porsche 356C Coupe (€70,000-€90,000), a 1958 Mercedes-Benz 190SL (€90,000-€100,000) and a 1963 Volkswagen T1 bus (€40,000-€45,000).

1980 Ferrari 512 BB

Other tempting cars on offer include a 1972 Maserati Indy 4.7 (€65,000-€80,000), a 2006 Ferrari 575M F1 Superamerica with one owner from new and GTC handling pack (€300,000-€350,000), a matching numbers carb-driven 1980 Ferrari 512 BB (€250,000-€300,000), and a restored 1963 Jaguar E-type Series 1 3.8-litre fixed-head coupe (€130,000-€160,000).
