Ford Sierra RS Cosworth sells for £9900 at BCA Paddock Wood
A 1988 Ford Sierra RS Cosworth sold for £9900 at BCA Paddock Wood. The in-demand car went under the hammer alongside more modern motors on Friday, 12 August.
The F-registered car was was finished in white with black trim. The sporty four-door saloon also boasted a sunroof and alloy wheels.
At the time of the sale, the car was in good working order and had done 68,054 miles but the mileage was not warranted. The Sierra had a cambelt change at 65,762 miles on 12th October 2015 and an MOT until 6th August 2017.
While £10k isn't to be sniffed at, it looks cheap compared to recent examples sold on eBay. A 1988 example with 45k on the clock recently sold online for £35,000.
And a 1992 J-plate one with 160k miles made £15,995, while an '88 'E' that had covered 60k fetched £13,005.
