Top 10: Cars of Back To The Future

Today, 21 October 2015, is the day that Marty McFly, Doc Brown and Jennifer Parker travelled to in the DeLorean time machine, in order to prevent Marty’s future son from doing something criminal at the behest of oafish bully Griff Tannen.

The 1989 movie envisioned a 2015 full of hover boards, terrifying 3D movie adverts, self-drying jackets and power-laced Nike hi-tops. And, of course, flying cars. 1985 Toyota Xtra Cab 4x4

For 1985’s young Marty McFly, success was a black extended cab Toyota pick-up truck - a truck which proved unequivocally that punching someone in the face yields all kinds of future success. Bought by George McFly as a gift for Marty during the ‘good’ 1985, which occured basically because George lamped Biff Tannen in a car park in 1955, the truck proved troublesome for Marty - it was the vehicle he crashed during a drag race with Flea from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, thus skewing time into a grim alternate reality. We think. Back To The Future can be quite confusing at times...
