Two BMW E30 M3s for sale at Anglia auction

Published 12 June 2015

Two BMW E30 M3 models are going under the hammer at Anglia Car Auctions this weekend.

The cars, one of which is a Europameister limited edition, will be offered for sale by the King's Lynn-based auction house on Saturday, 13 June.

The 1987 M3 was imported into the UK in 1998. It’s got 140,000 miles on the clock, comes with various invoices and MoT certificates, but no service book.

It’s been converted from left- to right-hand drive and fitted with a Cat 1 alarm. Involved in an insurance claim in 1998, it’s a Cat D.

This Cat D BMW M3 is estimated to fetch £12,000-£16,000 at ACA sale

The current owner says it’s seen little use over the past five years and while it runs it will need recomissioning. Expect to pay £12,000-£16,000 – which makes this an incredibly cheap M3.

The 1988 M3 Europameister is one of just 148 examples built to commemorate BMW’s domination of the 1988 European Touring Car Championship.

It’s covered 142,000km (88,000 miles) and has been in storage for the past few years. It’s estimated sale price is £35,000 to £40,000.

With 260 cars from all makes an manufacturers, there’s something to suit all tastes in Saturday’s sale.
