probably the most amazing car I will ever own

Bought as ex company car in 1989(boxes above do not acomodate these answers) . Quentin Wilson refered to the 1.3 as the runt of the litter but the engine was a jewel-it span like a turbine and so smooth and fast-far superior to the 1.6. I puchased at just 2 years old with 64000miles already on the clock-the car had been abused and oil changes missed. A hard life in business followed-but by 100000 miles only the horn had failed -this was £5 from a breaker. Still on original hoses, cambelt, fanbelt, rear tyres. At 125000 miles I had an exchange engine fitted. By 200000 miles the original front discs and cv boots were replaced. By 300000miles the Pierburg carb was replaced. Car had been subject of two rear end shunts by now and rust had set in rear arch. Minor wear could be detected in the exhaust manifold, head gasket and both driveshafts At 14 years old I sold the car to a breaker still running at 307000 miles. The interior trim and seats were like new. An amazing lively, comfortable, durable, economical car
