1,000 MOTOR WORKERS WALK OUT
FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT
LIVERPOOL, APRIL 10
A thousand workers at the Standard Triumph motor factory at Speke, near Liverpool, struck today.
They did so after a breakdown in talks between the management and the men's representatives which followed a managerial claim that supervisory staff could use tools. The men objected, and adopted go-slow tactics. They struck when the management demanded that they should work as usual or leave.
