A CHEAPER TYPE OF TRIUMPH HERALD
FROM OUR MOTORING CORRESPONDENT
The Standard-Triumph Company announce the introduction today of an addition to the range of Triumph Heralds which will be known as the Herald S saloon.
The car, which is mechanically the same as the standard Herald, has a new radiator grille and minor differences in exterior trim. It is not fitted with either a heater or screen-washer and will sell for £664 2s. 6d., which is £38 5s. less than the standard model. The Herald S is the first car to be made in the new £2,500,000 assembly hall at the Standard-Triumph factory at Canley, near Coventry.
