Overall reliability

Yeoman Service all the way, an extraordinary work horse, whose Sloanish looks belied its strength, reliability and gracious yet pokey driving.

Its 20 year old body shows its age and experience - and the Insurers' attitude: if it's damaged - turn off its life support, and that was ten years ago when a wing was damaged in a NMF accident.
Still going strong and sweet in Jan 2011. Yes it's had puppies and dogs in it with the seats folded down, parents with dementia too - in seats As well as daughters going to university over a period of ten years. The less shiney it got the more I appreciated its engine and reliability. No major mechanical failures at all. I think that this was THE Champagne Socialists' car. Style, grace, economy, no built in obsolescence. Now THE people's car is the Ford Focus. Mine will go to a VW enthusiast or a fruit farmer so it can still serve a purpose before being squidged.
