Reliable, cheap to repair

Big and heavy car, not so big on the inside. Comfy to drive, 2,5 diesel rattles and makes a lot of noise, especially when cold. Under heavy acelleration it sounds great.

I had to buy a new ac compressor and change some fuelconnections.

A big problem here in Norway is salty roads and the rust has made some damage to thin pipes under the car even tough it has been anti-rust treated with Tectyl several times.

All in all it has been a cheap car to own repair wise, uses 8liters of diesel pr 100km on average, great handeling on snow and ice.
I have changed engineoil every 8 to 10.000km and on the automatic gearbox after 50.000km.Runs perfectly.
Rust is starting on the bottom doors and over the rear wheels.
Some elecrical problems has been fixed easily.
Love the E34
