BACK TO NORMAL AT COWLEY WORKS
Work was back to normal yesterday at the Morris Motor factory at Cowley. Oxford, after Tuesday's strike by 10 paint shop workers who complained about new piece-work rates.
As a result of the strike 500 workers on the Morris Oxford and Wolseley 6/110 assembly lines had to be laid off for the day.
