Formerly known as the Tour Auto, the Tour Optic 2000 is a well-liked retrospective event, designed to recall the iconic Tour de France. A massive selection of about 200 classic sports, GT and rally cars made from 1951-73 travel through France - very competitively - and visit various racing circuits. Launched in 2011, the event is firmly established as a major fixture on the international historic racing calendar, attracting many thousands of spectators, hundreds of world-class historic racing cars and huge numbers of classic car club displays.
The SWVA classic car auction offers an eclectic mix of cars (varying in price and age) that are driven through the auction hall. It's a busy auction with up to 700 dealers, collectors and enthusiasts in the hall.
