Held on the Friday before the celebrated Concours d’Elegance, Gooding & Company’s auction showcases a curated lineup of cars, inviting spirited bidding in a comfortable setting. Since joining the Amelia Island experience in 2010, Gooding & Company’s auction has more than doubled.
Since 1999, RM Sotheby’s has held the role of the official auction house of the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, presenting an incredible selection of the world’s most desirable automobiles at the prestigious Ritz-Carlton while setting numerous auction benchmarks in the process.
Orin Smith gathered one of the most refined and tasteful collections of rare and important automobiles throughout his life. Now his automotive legacy will live on through the offering of a portion of this carefully curated collection. On the evening of 10 March, the Orin Smith Collection will kick off the weekend’s events in Amelia Island in a celebration of the automobiles and the man behind them.
All types of Austin & Morris vehicles will be on display at Brooklands. But as well as static displays in and around the Paddock, the Test Hill will be in action, and there will als be a cavalcade on the Mercedes-Benz World circuit and group photo on the Members’ Banking.
Places on the cavalcade are limited to 50, so please register on arrival, as there is no pre-booking and it will be first-come, first-served.
