Should I buy an Alfa Romeo Spider?

I have been offered a 1996 red Alfa Romeo Spider which I understand is in concours condition. It has just been serviced and has a new cam belt, full history and 62,000 miles on the clock. It has also only had one owner and is sold with a full MoT. The seller wants £3000. Is this a fair price?

Make a judgement. What do your instincts tell you? If the vendor is an Alfa enthusiast who has a good reason for selling it, good. If he's an Alfa enthusiast/dealer, probably okay. If he's a small time home trader/chancer then be very cautious.
