Can I use standard unleaded in my 1990 Mini Moke?

I have just bought a 1990 Mini Moke, but the dealer is not sure if the cylinder head has the hardened valve seats to use unleaded petrol. Do you think it would be okay to use unleaded? Also, should I use standard forecourt fuel (not supermarket) or will super unleaded be okay?

You should be okay, but I'd recommend using a higher octane premium fuel. Adding an additive won't hurt the engine so if it worries you, you can always err on the side of caution.
