Where can I find brake disc parts for my Mitsubishi Colt - can you help?

I have a Mitsubishi Colt GLX Mk2 and I can’t seem to find replacement rear brake disc splash/backplates as mine are rusted through. Are there compatible ones on the market?

You might get lucky and find a dealer that has some in stock in the backroom but the chances are you either won't find any or they going to be too expensive. In which case you need to look at getting yours repaired. If you're handy with a welder then clean them up and repair them as best you can. If not have a look for a local (or mobile) welder who might be able to help. Failing that ring a few local scrapyards. 'Make do and mend' is the mantra for keeping this generation of cars on the road.
