Buying Guide

Good

• Short (11' 5"), tall and light at 725kg.
• 1,138cc 56bhp engine with 5-speed gearbox, or 1,324cc 65bhp with 5-speeds.
• Optional full length electric sunroof cheered it up.
• All were pre-cat. Called the Ford Festiva in the USA and always built by KIA in South Korea.
• Lived on as the KIA Pride.

Bad

• Old now.
• Treat only as a cheap, fairly reliable buy.
• Almost all were scrapped in Japan years ago.
• Re-incarnated as the ultra cheap KIA Pride.

Watch

• Front suspension bushes wear.
•  Carburettor engine can give trouble.
