Buying Guide

Good

• Nice looking, wedge-shaped 2+2 coupe with sloping bonnet and retracting headlights.
• 14' 1" long by 5' 6" wide.
• First engines (1983-1987)were 1,829cc with 102 - 106bhp plus 5-speed maunal or four speed autobox. 1,958cc 137bhp engine 1985-1987.
• Lower power 1,958cc 114bhp EX model and higher power 1,958cc 147bhp 2.0i-16-4WS from 1987.
• Airy cabin with excellent visibility. Reliable and can still look good.

Bad

• Rust out in the rear wings.
• Body parts now very hard to get.

Watch

• Rust.
• If 4 wheel steer, make very sure the four wheel steering system is working properly by looking for unevenly work tyres.
