Land Rover Pay Pact

About 2,000 white-collar workers at Land Rover U.K. Ltd. have accepted a two-year pay increase that was previously rejected by 6,000 striking production workers, the vehicle company said on Friday.
The state-owned company said the pay package represented a 14 percent raise, but the strikers contend that it amounts to 8 percent. The strike has been costing Land Rover £3 million, or about $5.3 million, a day in lost production.
