200 DECIDE TO GO SLOW AT B.M.C.
FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT
OXFORD. JULY 10
An unofficial go-slow will start tomorrow among British Motor Corporation service department workers at Cowley, Oxford.
A meeting of more than 200 clerical workers today decided by a large majority to stage the go-slow because their demands for a substantial wage increase have not been met. Mr Arthur Pearce, secretary of the Cowley branch of the Clerical and Administrative Workers Union, tried to stop the meeting from taking any action.
"Your union does not recognize this meeting", he said.
