Car men to continue Friday stoppages

CAR MEN TO CONTINUE FRIDAY STOPPAGES
A meeting of several hundred workers representing over 1,500 vehicle builders at three British Motor Corporation factories in Birmingham rejected last night union instructions to call off Friday night stoppages which they have been staging for nearly four months in support of a demand for a four-night working week.
