Leyland's Private Aircraft

Leyland's Private Aircraft
Implementing its policy of using the most efficient business aids, Leyland Motors will shortly operate its own private aircraft for the use of the company's directors and senior executives.
Sir Henry Spurrier, Leyland's chairman and managing director, who flew various types of aircraft in Europe and the Middle East as a pilot during the First World War envisages air travel as a necessity for his executives to maintain close personal contact with the Leyland Group's main manufacturing plants in the European zone.
