March 1998
Replaced Cinquecento in Spring 1998. Much cuter, with optional PAS and optional citymatic autoclutch. 10' 11" long by 5' wide and weighing 730kg to 735kg.
Base 899cc pushrod engine with 39bhp or 1,108 cc ohc 'Fire' engine with 54bhp. The best older model is the SX-based 'En Suite' from September 1999V which has a bigger, longer-lasting 1,108cc 'Fire' engine, standard PAS and aircon.
October 2000
Cosmetic facelift in autumn 2000. No Red Key problems. As from October 2000 facelift, all UK-market Seicento were powered by 54 bhp 1,108cc multipoint injected 'Fire' engine with standard electric power steering.
