With more than 400 vehicles housed in its eight buildings, the Stondon Motor Museum has one of the largest privately-owned classic car collections in the UK.
Opened in 1994 by enthusiast John Saunders, the museum is based in Bedfordshire and has a wide range of classics from the Twenties right up to the Nineties. It's a place that's full of charm - from the tightly packed cars, to the leaky roof and that unmistakable old car smell. For many of us, it's a little corner of automotive nostalgia - a place to escape chirruping mobiles and invasive emails.
Sadly, since its founder died in 2013, the museum has struggled to cope with the tough economic climate and will close its doors on Monday, 6 April. Here are just some of the museum's many highlights for you to enjoy.
