Gallery: Grand Chelsea Rendezvous, London, 8 September

Set in the beautifully manicured lawns of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, the Grand Rendezvous picked up from last year's Auto Legends. Did the new event by 96 Club do the venue justice?

The event saw more than 100 classic and supercars gather at the exclusive venue on Chelsea Embankment, with a number of car forming a cavalcade that took in London landmarks including Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park Corner and Sloane Square. The event aims to raise awareness of the work of the Royal Hospital Chelsea and is organised by the 96 Club. The first event of its type wasn't without problems, with the cavalcade dissipating, and the changeable September weather then delivering a heavy showering to the multi-million pound line-up - but the crowd that made the event enjoyed a truly eclectic cars in an incomparable setting, all of which was for a good cause.
