  Unregistered Ford Cortina for sale at £25,000 1 Jun 2015 (News)
  Produced in May ’64, the Cortina was delivered to a Ford dealership in St Albans, Hertfordshire, and was purchased by a private customer who never took delivery. The car was subsequently stored for more than half a century, until purchased by its current vendor and offered on the open market for the first time.

  This completely original 19,244 mile A reg Cortina GT in Goodwood Green features in Historics 20th August Brooklands auction. 1963 was the first year of the Cortinat GT and the Lotus Cortina that derived from it. A conventional tin box with McPherson struts at the front and leaf springs backed up by a pair of control arms at the rear and powered by Ford's new 1,498cc 5-bearing engine with twin-choke Weber carb and tubular exhaust manifold, it immediately set the motorsport scene alight.  Everything else, from Sunbeam Rapiers to MGBs was slower.

  Cortina Culture Comes to BCA Blackbushe 10 Feb 2010 (News)
  Ian Dury had a lover affair with Nina in the back of one. Now British Car Auctions offers a Cortina that formally found fame on the BBC's Culture Show. This reasonably priced car will be a star attraction of BCA's Top Car auction on Monday 15th February.   It's a Ford Cortina Facelift Mk3 2000GT, one of the very last GT's produced and is on a 1976 'R' plate.

  Baggy Cortina Makes £2,200 at Auction 18 Feb 2010 (News)
  A 1976R Ford Cortina 2000GT 4-door with a BBC Culture Show pedigree was sold for £2,200 in the Top Car Sale at BCA Blackbushe on Monday, 15th February. This was despite a slightly soggy stance and rust coming through the tops of the front wings ar it always did on these Cortinas.

  Another contemporary Twin Cam Ford in Historics July sale is this 1970H Lotus Cortina Mk II from the same private collection as the Escort Twin Cam. The Roy Haynes designed Cortina Mk II was bigger and better than the Mk I with a crossflow 1,600cc engine and a closer ratio gearbox giving 60 in 2 nd instead of about 45.

  Classic Fords set to raise money for children’s charity 19 Aug 2016 (News)
  Classic Fords will be out in force this weekend to raise money for charity. The North Wales Classic Fords Snowdonia Run takes place 20-21 August and raises money for a children’s hospice. The event, which is now in its seventh year, sees 100 Fords take on the 100-mile route.
