Restorers, dealers, motorsport specialists and classic car tour companies have pledged their support for next year’s London Classic Car Show, which takes place at the ExCeL exhibition centre in Docklands from 8-11 January. <br />

This year’s London to Brighton veteran car run will be drive down London’s ‘red carpet road’ The Mall in November – for just the second time in 50 years.

Over one hundred Triumph TR7’s gathered at the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon on Sunday, 21 September, to mark the car’s 40th anniversary. It was the largest gathering since production ended in October, 1981.

To celebrate 130 years of Rover, there will be a special ‘Rover village’ at this year’s NEC classic motor show on 14-16 November. Around 1000-square metres will be devoted to the marque, with the P4-based Maurauder already confirmed to appear in Hall 17.

Jaguar’s Lightweight E-type will make its European debut at this year’s Goodwood Revival on 12-14 September.

The 1968 Hepworth/Ferguson that won the British Hillclimb Championship in 1969 and 1971 will make its southern debut at this year’s Footman James Sywell Classic – Pistons and Props motoring festival, held on 27 and 28 September.
