Retromobile: highlights and how to get there
The Retromobile show (5-9 February) is firmly established as one of the premier league indoor classic car shows. It's the first major gathering of its type in the annual calendar, and attracts a huge number of exciting and interesting cars. Many major manufacturers are exhibiting, and there are now three world-class classic car auctions taking place.
The show takes place at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre in the south of Paris, and there will be many highlights, including major displays from Lancia, with the Lukas Huni AG retrospective, a display of some of the most famous Paris-Dakar rally cars, the cars of the Maharajas, Tributes to Thomas Parry and Malcolm Campbell, and Jean Rédélé and Renault Alpine.
Rétromobile is open frm 5 February to the 9th, and opening times are 11am to 10pm on Wednesday, and 10am to 7pm for the rest of the event. Entry price is €14, and free for children aged 12 years or under. If you're driving, set your sat nav to VIPARIS Porte de Versailles, Pavillon 1, 75015 Paris, and parkings are situated near gates C, F and R.
