NEC classic motor show's search for a TV star car
Do you have a famous classic tucked away in your shed in need of some TLC? Maybe you’ve got the Professionals’ Ford Capri in your garage, or Mr Bean’s Mini in your barn – if you have, the organisers of this year’s NEC Classic Motor Show want to hear from you.
They’re looking for a former star of the screen (big or small) that’s now ready to make a comeback – with a little help from TV’s Wheeler Dealers.
Over the three days of show weekend on (14-16 November), Mike Brewer and Edd China will revive a classic with a claim to fame from a rusty wreck to a glittering glamourpuss that’s ready to shine again.
So if you know of a reclusive once-famous classic, then get in touch with the team. Simply send the details of the car and where it appeared to win@necclassicmotorshow.com before 5 September.
A panel of judges, including the Wheeler Dealers, will then pick the project will be the star of the NEC live stage in November.
