Brill drive but major problems with internals

I owned the car just over a year and in the time a few serious problems came about. The very common problem with the duel mass flywheel, it broke in Dec 2009 but lastest all the way untill i sold it (i did 25,000 in the time i owned it) but it has to be treated with care when you know its gone. Boost pipe burst off leaving me almost completely down on power on a 60mph road (had to be towed home) very exspensive fix of a new intercooler. ABS sensor faulty and made the ESP and ABS stop working all together. Parts for this type of engine are very exspensive. Overall very nice car but some serious issues when not looked after, which the previous owner did not do. MAKE SURE you change the oil every 6k miles not recomened 10k (weak camshafts and turbo sticks). Very high maintainence car. Handling is poor, needs top of range tyres to hold the road (tyres start at £100). Cant complain about mpg, it can out wit alot of other 'high' powered on the road and pulls like a train on the motorways so you can expect normal diesel running costs. Well put together and solid, shame about weak engine. Put it this way, throughout the whole year there was never one point where the car was problem free but if you want power you have to pay the price!
