Not bad, once you fix the common problems

When I got the car in 2013 it was like brand new. SInce I got it second hand I had to change the belts and they are about twice the price of the 1.6 litre engine, but that's the only pricy maintenance. Since then I changed compressor, thermostat, exhaust and few other things, but it;s something normal for an 18 year old car. The engine consumes about 2 quints of oil for 6k miles and is a bit thirsty on petrol. My advice is to run it on LPG, since it cuts the cost in half and it pays itself in about 4k miles. Once you get rid of the common problems, it's an extremely reliable car.
