Celebrate 30 years of the M5 at Retro Classics Stuttgart

BMW will celebrate 30 years of the BMW M5 super saloon at this year’s Retro Classics show in Germany.
Visitors to the show, which takes place 26-29 March in Stuttgart, will see every M5 from every decade thanks to an exhibition from the Revo car dealership.
There will also be a few other ‘M’ cars on show, including the M635CSi E24 coupe and M3 E30 3-series convertible.
First launched at the Amsterdam motor show in 1984, the E28 M5 might have looked like an ordinary 5-series saloon but under the bonnet was a 3.5-litre 286bhp straight-six, which made it the fastest production saloon in the world.
Drivers fell in love with the car and to this day it is still regarded as a benchmark for high performance saloon.
