A Grand Monday: Rover 416SLI Tourer £995
Published 01 June 2015
Here’s a car that stopped us in our tracks today. It’s a Rover 416SLI Tourer with only 48,000 miles on the clock and an MoT until October for sale at £995.
It’s quite a compact estate, but thanks to the low mileage it’s got a clean and tidy interior but the bodywork is a little battle worn. Under the bonnet is a Honda engine, so it’s got plenty of miles left in it as long as it’s been well looked after.

With two previous owners, the car has been garaged for some of its life, which means the paintwork should be ok. One owner seems to have been an elderly chap in ill health, which might explain the knocks and dings.
That said, if you can live with the war wounds and the history is up to scratch, it would make an excellent classic family wagon.
