Best car I’ve ever had

I bought this car from Isaac Agnew Volkswagen in Mallusk Northern Ireland. The Match was a limited edition model and had great value so bought it for my wife for our 10th wedding anniversary. After 17 years of owning I can report that we have had nothing go wrong with it. The mileage on it right now on 30th July 2020 is 119,352 miles. The average mileage is about 7,000 miles per year. We’ve had a new timing belt, battery and just other regular things that need done. The car is serviced every 7,000 miles and oil changed every 3/4 thousand miles. The car drives very well and is still in daily use, we get around 40 mpg on motorway. Costs around £40 to fill it up with petrol that usually lasts about 2/3 weeks. Costs around £200 to service . The VW dealer was very good and not pushy. Apparently they had sold 5 Golf Matches the day We bought ours. Car is practical. All our children have grown up with this car and our eldest learnt to drive In it 2 years ago and we have another one starting this year.
