Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars to return in January
Classic car fans are set for a treat in the New Year as Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars returns in January. The show sees petrolhead Paul Cowland and bargain hunter Drew Pritchard scour Britain for some hidden motoring gems before buying them, restoring them and (attempting) to turn a profit.
One of the main talking points of the series will be a Jaguar XJ-S. Fitted with an aftermarket bodykit, Drew wants to unpimp his ride, but Paul has reservations over the scale of the job. Other cars staring in the series include a Ford Capri, Maserati Ghibli and Morris Minor Traveller as well as a BMW 635CSi.
While critics might argue that Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars just another classic car program (remember when there weren’t even any on TV?) what we like about the show is meeting the people who do the hardwork. Sure, Wheeler Dealers will show you how to rebuild a car’s brakes – but with Salvage Hunters you get to meet the people who know how to refurbish wheels and dashboards.
Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars premieres on Wednesday 16th January at 9pm exclusively on Quest / also available via the QuestOD app
