Bullitt Mustang to make European debut at Goodwood
Published 29 June 2018
The iconic Mustang driven by Steve McQueen in classic film Bullitt that was presumed lost until recently will make its first appearance outside of the USA at the Goodwood Festival of Speed next month.
The 1968 Ford Mustang GT was uncovered in the USA earlier this year. Now the car will complete the 1.16-mile Goodwood Hillclimb course on 12-15 July.
Resurfacing after more than three decades in storage, owner Sean Kiernan worked with Ford to revive the movie star car and it was unveiled at the 2018 North American Auto Show, Detroit, in January.
Kiernan, who inherited the car from his later father in 2014, will be joining the car as it makes its European debut at the world-famous Chichester event.
