Adventure and animation set for British Motor Museum
May half-term is all about adventure, animation and Land Rovers at the British Motor Museum. To celebrate the marque’s 70th anniversary, the museum is putting on selection of family events from 26 May to 3 June.
The new ‘Discover Land Rovers Trail’ allows visitors to explore some of the Land Rovers in the Museum’s collection in a fun and interactive way. You’ll be able to see the first pre-production Land Rover and discover why so many people love Land Rovers.
There are also family 'Adventure Tours' each day with costumed guides bringing to life some of the amazing adventure stories behind some of the cars and famous journeys through jungles and deserts.
Finally, you’ll also be able to make your own short animated film. Drop in to the Learning Space and start by creating a storyboard, then build a Land Rover model to star in your very own animation
All activities are included in museum admission: adults £14, Children £9 (5-16 years) under 5s free, Concessions £12 & a Family £39 (2 adults & up to 3 children). Find out more at the website: britishmotormuseum.co.uk.
