Lancaster Insurance to sponsor Classic and Supercars show at Sherborne Castle

Lancaster Insurance has been named as the headline sponsor for the Classic & Supercars event at Sherborne Castle. Held at the famous Dorset Castle, the annual event will take place over two days (15-16 July) for the first time due to demand and will once again be raising money for a range of national and local charities including Cancer Research UK.

More than 2000 cars were on show at last year’s event. This year, the celebrated marque will be Mercedes-Benz. There will be auctions across both days from Charterhouse and performances from 1930s girl group Hotsie Totsies throughout the weekend, so there’s something for everyone.

Richard Morley, Lancaster Insurance divisional head, says, ‘When we were asked to be involved with this event, it seemed a perfect fit for us and a great one to add to our existing sponsorship. The event showcases a great variety of models and marques and with this year’s new elements, is truly interactive for the enthusiast. Knowing the event makes an incredible amount for charity, tops it off.’
