Grids confirmed for Donington Historic
Donington Historic Festival has revealed the grid line-up for this year’s event. And this year’s festival, which takes place on 28-30 April at Donington Park, features big change to the format. For 2017, all qualifying take place on the Friday, allowing for even more racing action on Saturday and Sunday.
Building on previous years, the 2017 Donington Historic Festival will showcase a mix of sports, GT and Touring Cars, single-seaters and Le Mans prototypes. The race cars in action will span nine decades, from the Pre-War Sports Cars of the hugely entertaining ‘Mad Jack’ race to the youngest machines at the event, the Super Touring Cars.
Festival organisers are aiming to improve this year’s event with more car clubs and displays for families and fans to enjoy. Additionally, the rally car stage will be returning, along with a new stunt driving arena.
