Heritage Rally set for July
The date for this year’s Heritage Rally has been confirmed as 24 July. Cars will leave the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, Warwickshire, at 10am as they head over to the Hook Norton Brewery in Oxfordshire.
Drivers can then either make their way home – or head directly back to Gaydon to enjoy the museum in the afternoon. It’s the fourth running of the event, which is open to all classic cars over 20 years old.
Simon Carr, clubs and rallies co-ordinator at the British Motor Museum, said, ‘The Heritage Rally is a great social event and an absolute must for classic car enthusiasts. All makes and models of classic car are welcome (20 years+) and for many it is the first time they have joined a run as no previous experience is required.’
For a car, driver and passenger the cost is £45. Additional passengers are £22.50 per person. The cost includes a rally plaque for the car, route map and directions, entry to the Hook Norton Brewery Visitors Centre and tour, buffet lunch at the brewery and entry to the British Motor Museum.
