TV’s Ant Anstead set for MGLive!

Ant Anstead, the host of Channel Four TV show For The Love Of Cars, has been confirmed as a presenter of MGLive! this June.

Anstead will be at the Silverstone show the whole weekend looking after the live action arena where guests will include Wheeler Dealer Mike Brewer, legendary stunt driver Russ Swift. He’ll also be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs.

Anstead said, ‘My first car was an MG Midget, so I’ve always had a soft-spot for MGs.' He added,  ‘I’ve never had the chance to go to MGLive! before so I’m really looking forward to getting down to Silverstone – the chance to host the Live! Arena and meet so many MG fans is going to be brilliant.’

MG Car Club general manager Adam Sloman said, he first met Ant at last year’s NEC Classic Motor Show where he helped the club celebrate its 85^th birthday. Sloman said, ‘From talking to Ant it was clear just how much he loved MG and we thought there and then it’d be great to get him along to MGLive! to host the Live! Action Arena. We’re over the moon that he can join us for the weekend.’
