Historic Brabham Grand Prix cars set for Race Retro
Three legendary Brabham race cars will make an appearance at this year’s Race Retro show, along with Sir Jack Brabham’s son David.
Visitors will be able to see the cars – BT6, BT8 and BT24 – at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, over the weekend of 20-22 February.
And racing driver David Brabham will be at the show on Friday and Sunday to talk about the cars and history of Brabham racing.
David said, ‘Over the past few years, I have taken a keener interest in old racing cars and what they achieved and represented in their time, so I am really looking forward to attending my first Race Retro.
David will be joined by three of the Brabham cars thanks to specialist classic dealer Hall & Hall. The 1963 BT6, which scored numerous victories in the hands of the likes of Jo Schlesser and works driver Denny Hulme, its successor the BT8, and the 1967 BT24.
