NEC classic motor show set to be biggest yet

More then 1700 classic cars will be on show at this year's Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show - held at the Birmingham NEC over the weekend of 14-16 November.

Around 250 of Britain’s best motoring clubs will celebrate ‘The Big Screen’ displaying classic marques from TV and film while headline sponsor Lancaster Insurance has a trio of iconic screen cars - the ECTO-1 from Ghostbusters, K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider and the time-travelling DeLorean from the 1984 classic Back to the Future.

There are celebratory displays from Porsche GB marking the 40^th anniversary of the Turbo, Maserati Club UK with a 21 model salute for Maserati’s centenary, and a host of Rover groups gather for the 130^th anniversary of Rover.

The experts give practical demonstrations in the Restoration Theatre while Quentin Willson dishes out advice on the Classic Club Stage, in association with Motoriety.co.uk.
