Preview: Simply Ford, Beaulieu, 4 May
Simply Ford, held in the grounds of the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu on 4 May, is expected to attract more than 1000 Fords. This year sees the 50th birthday of the Mustang being celebrated, as well as the 20th anniversary of the Second Generation Ford Probe.
Show regulars, the Ford Heritage Collection, will be bringing along a selection of their stunning vehicles, including an Escort Mklll Ghia (1985), a Focus Mkl LX (1998), a Granada Scorpio 2.9 Auto Estate (1993), a Mondeo Mkl 1.8L LX (1995) and an S-Max Titanium MPV (2006). Also attending is the Hendy Ford dealership, displaying a variety of vehicles from their new Ford range.
As well as being a great opportunity to view hundreds of Ford vehicles and meet up with other like-minded enthusiasts, you can also browse a number of trade stands selling Ford-related parts and accessories. Rally participants and Beaulieu’s attraction visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite Ford with the lucky winner receiving the People’s Choice Award.
Entry into the Beaulieu parkland with your Ford is from 9am and catering will be available. More information at www.beaulieuevents.co.uk
