And some very significant prices achieved, such as £239,960 inc for a 1971 Mercedes Benz 600 Pullman limousine; £220,640 inc for a 1926 Bentley 3 Litre Tourer; £155.008 inc for a 1966 Jaguar E-Type S1 4.2 roadster; £122,248 for a 1976 Rolls-Royce Phantom V1; and £48,160 inc for a 1972 BMW 3.0CSi.

185 1969 Jensen FF Mk. I. One of 193 built, the Jensen FF came with Ferguson Formula four-wheel drive and Dunlop Maxaret anti-lock brakes. Powered by a 6,276cc Chrysler V8 engine with power fed through a Torqueflite automatic transmission it had a top speed of 140mph and could get to 100 in 19 seconds. This RHD car comes in ‘Mango’ orange and features an appropriate leather and wood interior. Restored over 2008/2009.Registration is ‘FFZ171’. Estimated at £73,000 to £80,000. £71,960 sold

198 1926 Bentley 3 Litre with Vanden Plas style Open Tourer body. Delivered in 1925 to Mr. Eric D Mackintosh, this Bentley started life as a saloon with division by Rippon. Its four-seater Vanden Plas style tourer body was fitted in 1952. One foggy night, in the early 1950s it stuck in 3rd gear and the driver sold it to a garage in Slough the owners of which kept it ever since. It starred as Douglas Bader’s car in the movie ‘Reach for the Sky’, and remained in storage until the garage was sold in 2007. The family then decided to restore it spending in excess of £150,000 over 4 years with Elmdown Engineering of Hungerford. The engine starts immediately and runs extremely well. This Bentley has not been offered for sale for over 60 years and is therefore a once in a lifetime opportunity. Estimated at £180,000 to £220,000. £220,640 sold.
