Three 1970s Datsun Z Cars in Historics 23rd November Sale
A 1972 Datsun 240Z, a 1974 260Z and a 1976 260Z have all been entered in Historics 23rd November auction at Mercedes-Benz World Weybridge.
The 1972 240Z boasts a recently rebuilt 2,800cc engine fitted with three Weber DCOEs and putting out 235HP through a 5-speed box and Quaife differential. This fully sorted and immaculate RHD car sits on new Minilite alloys with Avon CR6ZZ tyres. It stops as well as it goes by virtue of ventilated brake discs and four piston front calipers. These cars are good to drive even when a bit baggy, but this perfect example should be sensational. Estimated at £37,000 to £42,000.
The 1974 260Z is a rust-free LHD automatic imported from the USA. It has the standard 2.6 litre 165HP six-cylinder engine, original VIN tags a clean, cream interior and sits on what look like Wolfrace wheels. It is estimated at £11,000 to £14,000.
The 1976 260Z is a RHD manual that has recently been treated to a windows out, panel off, full repaint costing more than £10,000. It comes with a comprehensive history and 44,000 miles showing. It is estimated at £19,000 to £23,000.
Pre-action viewings will be held on Thursday 21st November from 10am to 8pm and on Friday 22nd November from 10.00am to 5pm
The auction itself starts at 10am on Saturday 23rd November
