Homologation BMW E36 M3 heads to auction
A limited-edition BMW E36 M3 is heading to auction. The 1995 BMW M3 GT Individual, one of 50 made, will go under the hammer on Saturday, 3 August. It is expected to fetch between £20,000 and £25.000.
Finished in British Racing Green with Mexico Green Nappa leather interior, it boasts an adjustable front splitter, and motorsport strut-brace. Under the bonnet, the European spec S50B30 engine has been upgraded with wider camshafts and a higher compression ratio, which makes it good for 295bhp.
It’s one of three Bavarian barnstormers featuring in the next CCA sale, which also includes a 2001 Z3 M Coupe. Fitted with the S54 engine and manual gearbox, the Sapphire Black Metallic car has 62,900 miles on the clock, a high factory specification and an estimated of £35,000 to £40,000.

The third car is a 1987 BMW 352i Sport E30 M-Tech in Lachs Silver with 47,000 miles on the clock. Having been with the current owner for the past three years, it is comes with a comprehensive history file and the BMW book pack (estimate at £22,000 to £26,000).
Gary Dunne, Classic Car Auctions auction manager, said, ‘We recently sold a similar 325i Sport earlier this year for an excellent price and these cars make a great purchase as the M3s become rarer.’
